Shelly Thompson: Paralegal
Shelly Thompson has worked in the legal field since 1985 when she began her career as a legal secretary at a large downtown Minneapolis law firm. She worked at that firm for 8 years in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, criminal defense, insurance defense and legislative law. In the mid-90's, Shelly moved with her family to the Alexandria, MN area and worked at a law office with one attorney in the practice areas of worker's compensation, personal injury and employment law. Upon returning to the Twin Cities, she continued her employment in the legal field and joined the Finn Shapiro law firm in 2004.
Shelly is married with two teenage children. She is also the business administrator for her husband's automotive upholstery business in Rogers, MN. In addition to keeping up with her two children's sporting activities, Shelly has also been involved in her community. She was on the City of Brooklyn Park's Tater Daze festival planning committee and served as the Brooklyn Park Royalty Coordinator - a post she held from 2003 - 2007.
Shelly has extensive experience in all phases of litigation including all facets of the discovery process, litigation support and overall project management.

Pam Rogers: Paralegal
Pam Rogers has worked in the legal field since 1980. She began her career as a legal secretary working with Allan Shapiro at a law firm in downtown Minneapolis. Allan and Pam then took a short 24-year break. During that time Pam worked as a legal secretary/legal assistant with a lawyer who practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, no-fault, and entertainment law. We are very excited to have the team reunited now that we are older and wiser. Pam has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, as well as accounting and general office management.
Pam lives in the Plymouth area with her 21-year old son and an adorable border collie named Hank. In her spare time, Pam enjoys 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time with her seven other siblings and their families.

Cheryl Flegel: Bookkeeper
Cheryl Flegel provides accounting services for Finn Shapiro LLC. She has a broad range of experience having previously worked for one of the "Big Four" accounting firms. Cheryl graduated from Oregon State University with a major in accounting. She is a member of the Society of Certified accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She enjoys volunteering for the local Boy Scout troop and her church.
